Fully private care

One appointment. One crown. Done.

Crowns used to mean two appointments two weeks apart, a temporary crown that often came loose, and an unpredictable colour match. CEREC has changed all of that. Using a 3D scan of your tooth, computer-aided design, and an onsite milling machine, we can design and fit your crown in a single visit - usually in around two hours.

Rupee K.

Best dentists ever! Had Invisalign and veneers with Dr Waghela and love the results. All of the staff are lovely (especially Amy and Kizzy) and the practice is extremely clean and organised, would highly recommend.

Neeta S.

I had a crown done by Dr. Bhavnish, and I am extremely happy with the results. He uses all modern technology and is very skilled. My teeth were in very bad condition, but everything was fixed perfectly and professionally. The entire team is amazing, kind, and helpful. I highly recommend Dr. Bhavnish and his clinic!

Philip A.

Always welcoming and professional. Care and attention second to none. Great communication and attention to detail.

I have just completed my Invisalign journey with Dr Anmol Bal and I am so happy with the results! Anmol is extremely friendly and thorough, the whole process was seamless. I highly recommend her.

Aleksandra S.

I can't imagine going to any other dentist after experiencing the incredible service at Natural Smiles Leicester. From the moment I step into the reception, I'm greeted with warm smiles from the reception ladies, which instantly puts me at ease and makes the whole experience relaxing. Dr. Bhavnish is hands down the best dentist I've ever met; he's attentive, gives the best advice, and provides top-notch treatment. He truly listens to his patients. I feel genuinely cared for every time I visit.

Bhavin S.

I have known Bhavnish for a while but this was my first visit to his clinic for my treatment (root canal). Must say this has been one of my best experiences so far when compared with visits with previous episodes, especially as I suffer from dental phobia. The clinic is super clean, hygienic, not claustrophobic and has latest medical devices. The staff is very friendly and keeps calm throughout the procedure. Bhavnish is a hands-on dentist and he himself operated me. Has been a great experience and happy to recommend Natural Smiles any time.

Aaran W.

I have recently reached out to Natural Smiles. To help fix my teeth I hated to smile, now thanks to the team I feel like a new man. They're all very welcoming and professional. I can't recommend highly enough.

Emeka A.

I recently completed my dental treatment at Natural Smiles (Leicester) and I couldn't be happier with the results! For the treatment, I wore aligners and did composite bonding now my teeth look absolutely amazing! Their team is incredibly professional and polite. They made me feel very comfortable and ensured I was informed every step of the way. I highly recommend Natural Smiles to anyone looking for top-notch dental care.

How CEREC compares to traditional crowns

Invisalign offers a discreet and effective way to improve both the appearance and function of your smile. During your consultation, we’ll take the time to understand your goals, assess your teeth, and determine whether Invisalign is the right solution for you.

One visit instead of two - no temporary crown, no second appointment

No goopy moulds - replaced with a quick, comfortable digital scan

Precise digital design - your crown is custom-built to fit your bite perfectly

High-strength ceramic that's tooth-coloured and natural-looking

Less drilling - because the crown is so precise, we usually need to remove less tooth structure

Long-lasting results - CEREC crowns typically last 10-15 years or more

When CEREC crowns are the right choice

Same-day crowns work brilliantly for a wide range of situations. We'd typically recommend a CEREC crown if you have:

A large filling that's broken down or needs replacing

A cracked or fractured tooth

A tooth that's had root canal treatment

Significant wear from grinding

A misshapen or discoloured tooth that affects your smile

An older crown that's failing or no longer matches

Your same-day crown appointment, hour by hour

Most patients are amazed by how quickly it all happens. Here's roughly how the day unfolds.

Hour 1 - Preparation and scanning

The tooth is gently shaped under local anaesthetic, then scanned in 3D with our iTero or Trios scanner. No impressions, no goop.

Hour 1-2 - Design and milling

Your dentist designs the crown on screen, matching the shape, fit and bite to your existing teeth. The design is sent to our onsite milling machine, which carves your crown from a single block of high-strength ceramic.

Hour 2 - Finishing and fitting

The crown is glazed, polished and bonded onto your tooth. Bite checked, refined if needed, and you're done. You leave with your final crown - no temporary, no follow-up.

How long do CEREC crowns last?

With good care, a CEREC crown typically lasts 10-15 years - and often longer. The ceramic material is highly durable and resistant to wear. Looking after your crown is no different from looking after your natural teeth: regular check-ups, hygiene visits, and avoiding biting hard objects like ice or pen lids.

Why choose Natural Smiles for CEREC dentistry

An onsite mini dental lab for refinement and additional work when needed

Frequently asked questions

Got a question about orthodontic treatment? Here are some of the most common things our patients ask us.

Is a CEREC crown as strong as a traditional crown?

Yes - in many cases stronger. CEREC crowns are milled from a single block of high-strength ceramic, eliminating weak points that can occur in layered crowns. They're suitable for both front and back teeth.

Will my CEREC crown look natural?

Absolutely. The ceramic blocks come in a wide range of shades and translucencies, and your dentist carefully matches them to your existing teeth. The final glaze and polish gives a finish indistinguishable from natural enamel.

How long does a CEREC crown take in total?

Most single crowns are completed within two hours from start to finish. More complex cases - like multiple crowns or veneers in a day - take longer but still finish in a single visit.

Is the treatment uncomfortable?

No more so than a standard crown. The tooth is gently prepared under local anaesthetic, and the scan replaces the messy impressions of old-fashioned crown work. Most patients are pleasantly surprised by how comfortable the appointment is.

Can I drive after my appointment?

Yes, if you've had treatment under local anaesthetic only. If you've chosen sedation for a more complex case, you'll need someone to bring you and take you home.

Can I have CEREC if I grind my teeth?

Yes - in fact, well-fitted CEREC crowns are often excellent for patients who grind, because the material is so durable. We'd usually recommend wearing a nightguard to protect both your crown and your other teeth.

What if my crown needs adjusting later?

Minor bite adjustments are easy and free of charge within a reasonable period after fitting. We always want you to be comfortable - just call us if anything doesn't feel right.
