Natural Smiles isn't just another dental practice. We've spent 25 years building something specific - a fully private practice where patients are known by name, where appointments aren't rushed, and where the technology and team behind every treatment match the quality of the work itself. We're proud of what we've built, and just as proud of the patients we've looked after along the way.
Our story
Natural Smiles has grown organically over more than two decades into the practice it is today. Led by Dr Bhavnish Waghela, who qualified from King's College London in 1995, the practice has evolved through a deliberate focus on three things: technical excellence, premium materials, and a patient experience that feels genuinely different. We never wanted to be the biggest practice in the area - just the one that treats every patient like they matter.
Today, alongside our team of clinicians, hygienists, nurses and our treatment coordinator, we look after patients across Leicestershire, the East Midlands, and from much further afield - including patients who travel specifically for our implant and cosmetic work.
Where we are
Our practice is on Leicester Road in Wigston - on the main road, ground floor, with free parking right outside and easy motorway access. We welcome patients from across South Leicester, Oadby, Knighton, Stoneygate, Great Glen, Kibworth, Market Harborough, Hinckley and beyond.

What we stand for
Three principles shape how we look after every patient.
Time
Time is precious. Our use of digital scanners, X-rays, CT scans and digital planning - in collaboration with top dental technicians - minimises visits while maximising results. CEREC technology lets us deliver single-visit dentistry. In-house CBCT supports implant work and advanced diagnostics. 3D printing gives us rapid turnarounds. Our treatment coordinator acts as your concierge, providing one point of contact throughout your care.
Quality
We only use the best laboratories and we take no shortcuts with planning or implementation. From the materials we use in fillings to the brands of implant we place, every choice is made on clinical quality - never on cost. Our 25 years as a fully private practice gives us the freedom to never compromise.
Patient experience
Every patient is different - and they deserve to be treated that way. Unhurried appointment times. Plain-English explanations. A treatment coordinator who knows you by name. We've built our entire approach around the idea that great dentistry should also feel calm, supportive and genuinely human.
Our technology
We've invested heavily in modern dental technology - not for its own sake, but because it makes a real difference to diagnosis, treatment quality and patient experience.
iTero and Trios scanners
Comfortable, fast 3D digital impressions - no goopy moulds, no gag reflex, no waiting. We use scans for everything from orthodontic planning to CEREC crowns.
CBCT scanner (in-house)
Advanced 3D imaging for implant planning, complex diagnostics and assessments of the wider jaw and surrounding structures. Most practices have to refer patients out for CBCT - we do it on site.
CEREC technology
Onsite milling for ceramic crowns, inlays, onlays and veneers - allowing us to deliver same-day dentistry including full crowns in a single visit and even veneers in a day for suitable cases.
3D printing on site
Custom whitening trays, retainers, surgical guides and more - produced on site, often within hours. Our onsite mini dental lab is part of how we deliver faster, better-quality work.
Digital X-rays
Lower radiation than traditional X-rays, instant results, and seamless integration into your digital record.
Fully digital workflow
Your records, scans, X-rays, photographs and treatment plans all connected in a single system - meaning more accurate diagnoses, better communication between clinicians, and a clearer picture for you.

Looking after nervous patients
Many of our patients first come to us after years of avoiding the dentist. We're well practised at making the experience feel different - calm environment, unhurried appointments, treatment coordinator support, and honest, judgement-free conversations. For more complex treatments, IV sedation is available, personally provided by Dr Bhavnish Waghela.
For referring dentists
We accept referrals from other dental practices across the East Midlands and beyond, particularly for implant and advanced restorative work. Our commitment to ongoing learning
Dentistry never stands still - and neither do we. Both our clinicians actively pursue continuing education to stay at the forefront of their fields. Dr Bhavnish Waghela trains and lectures other dentists in implant and laser dentistry. Dr Anisha Mistry has undertaken multiple postgraduate courses in cosmetic and orthodontic dentistry. Continuing professional development is built into how we operate.
